Stamkos was better than Ovechkin before shattering his leg and he’s always been the superior shooter even with all the injuries; he just hasn’t been as good at creating his own shot due to losing both mobility and willingness to attack the net. Ovi’s scored more goals over the course of his career because he’s stayed healthy and shot in far greater volumes than Stammer, not because he’s more skilled.

I still remember 2008 like it was yesterday. Nice to see him continuing to do well and he has always had such a good head on his shoulders.
