Is HFBoards sleeping on Stamkos again?!

Stamkos was bad, when Tampa was drowning earlier in the season.
Now they are ok - already made playoff. His goals against PIT and CBJ meant nothing and average forward Brandon Haigle is still much bettet than he at evenstrength. Nothing special to mention about Stamkos

Obviously the results speak for themselves, but I don't think his overall game has been all that impressive. He's still useful as a trigger man, but basically Ovechkin Lite in that regard.

My favourite Stamkos trivia is probably that he's got less career playoff goals and less career playoff points to date than Ondrej Palat (who's also better defensively).

Palat has 6 more goals and an equal amount of assists in 27 more playoff games played.

At 34 Ovechkin had 48 goals in 68 games. At 38 Ovechkin is able to hit 30 goals in lowest scoring eastern team in the league. 39 goal in the team with 2pointper player is nothing + 2 guys already hit 40+

I'm talking numbers ......I'll leave he hypotheticals to others.
But to answer how many ? well if Stamps played full 2 and 4 minutes powerplays while rest of units switched up.....and If he stayed out there 3 on 3 no matter what until either teams scores......Stamps would have as many as OV .....I'm guessing

Who cares what Stamkos may or may not be able to do at 38? Are you simply comparing 2024 Stamkos to 2024 Ovechkin?
