Brodeur is looking for some offensive records... Moreso then 700 wins. Brodeur prides himself on his passing and contributing to the offence. Look at the offensive stats of Fuhr, Roy and Barrasso. Brodeur is chasing assists records in the regular season and overall (including playoffs) Points records too. (As he is so close to all those records)... Within a few assists of breaking all of them. Within a single assist of passing people.

I am totally serious. I think this means more as a record to Brodeur then 700 wins. Watch how Brodeur plays if he ends up with a big lead in the game.

And I love that. I hope he can break every goalie scoring record!!! He deserves it. He is the best puckhandling goalie ever. How many individuals can say the league made a rule to specifically minimize their offence? The late 50's Habs? Gretzky and the Oilers... And Brodeur and the trapezoid! Get the records Marty!!!
