4 million a year for 33 year old beagle
Poile gave viktor Arvidsson 4 million a year.

Matthews but it’s closeActually expanding on this. I enjoy how the world explodes saying how Matthew's is overpaid yet the Canucks sign these bums and "oh well it's just a Benning move".
Who would you rather have.
Matthew's
or
Eriksson and Beagle
Lol
Gagner's contract surely bears some consideration for one of the Canucks worst contract signings. One lackluster season in VanCity, followed by exile to the AHL. And unless the Canucks buy him out, he'll finish out the third year of his contract in the minors at $3m per.Beagle's contract is awful, but Eriksson's is one of the worst in the league.
Brandon Sutter's contract flies under the radar for whatever reason, man is that one just putrid.
Sutter was signed to an unprecedented contract, he was the highest paid forward in NHL history to never score more than 40 points in a season.
He's been here for 4 seasons, had one decent year scoring most of his points in garbage time, which ultimately hurt the teams tank. Has been putrid this season and is trending towards being a Ryan Kesler type of player that has totally fallen off a cliff.
The idea that this organization is paying junk like Eriksson. Sutter, Gudbranson, Gagner and Granlund ~20 million a year is just mind boggling. They could replace these guys with Gaudette, McKewen, Biega, Gaunce and Archibald and probably get better at ice hockey.
Just disgusting.
yeah man and poor mans Malhotra.I like Jay Beagle, he's the bottom six team leader this team has been in search of for years. I think he's overpaid and his effort level will probably wain over time but I appreciate the job he does.
Eriksson just exists, although even that is questionable at times.
