That’s a pretty solid middle for the next few years to come. I mean you hate to have to pay $3M to a 4th line centre but the leadership and experience he brings outweighs the negatives.

The Eriksson contract is at another level of bad. He has looked uninterested from the moment he took the first shift and scored on his own goal. At no point has Eriksson looked even remotely worth his deal.
