I like Gardiner but I don't think the Leafs would accept McGinn as the main piece coming back for him. Same goes for Kulikov.

Both are raw and still projects but I'm completely fine with McGinn going the other way for one of them. However, I wouldn't want to pay the price the Leafs/Panthers would probably want.

I'm not really sold on Gardiner. Seen him make way too many dumb plays. Seems like he relies way too much on his skating. He's constantly in the doghouse on a poor Leafs defense.

in leafs system defenseman don't need to skate with the puck, it's quick outlet pass to D and transition to offense.
