So they didn't show on TV who iced the puck at 4:04 of the 1st. These players were on the ice.
MacDonald - Schultz
Rinaldo-Bellemare-Akeson
Unless someone who was at the game saw who did it and remembers, I'll have to skip that one.

here a clip i got from the SN feed

this right before the reff blew the whistle
It looks like the 3 three guys who were chasing the puck are the forwards, i'm 100% sure the guy on the bottom is Rinaldo.
so i think it's one of the Dman, AMac played in the right during the whole game and we can see in the picture a guy in the right side, so i think it's Schultz.
the only thing i know for sure it's not Rinaldo, i think it's one of the Dmans.
or maybe Emery
This, however, I think would be a terrible idea. Why put subjectivity into it? It would completely devalue the whole counting thing. A "smart" icing is in the eye of the beholder. Also, a player can make a "smart" icing, but a better player could clear it without icing it. Is it a "smart" icing then anymore? You might want to be keen to distinguish "smart" icing plays though. Like when we're hemmed in our zone for the last minute of play or so, sometimes just getting it out is better than losing it to the opposing team again if there is no play to be made.
Icing Leaders at the end of October
Del Zotto - 7
Grossmann - 6
Giroux - 5
Streit - 4
MacDonald, Schultz, Voracek - 3
Bellemare, BSchenn, LSchenn - 2
Ghost, Raffl, Read, Rinaldo, Umberger 1
It's pretty amazing that Couturier doesn't have a single icing considering how often he starts in the defensive zone.
MDZ leading isn't a surprise because he goes for the big passes. It's still better than Grossmann icing it while doing who the hell knows what.
Can someone who recorded the game or just remembers tell me who iced the puck with 2:39 left in the 3rd? My recording stopped at 10:30pm.
The players on the ice were:
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Schultz-Coburn

MacDonaldNovember is updated apart from yesterday's one icing by the Flyers at 10:32 of the 2nd. If someone still has that game recorded, please let me know who it was.
