HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I was ____ when the Oilers won McDavid

I am 36 years old. I was getting ready for work. I was trying to nap earlier and it was not happening I was tired and expecting a long bad day at work because I was so tired. My reaction? I decided to check the NHL webpage before I went to work to see who won McDavid not expecting at all the Oilers would win. I was not even sure if they had done the draw yet or not. My reaction is I yelled yes out real loud and I almost jumped off my bed. I felt like when Canada scored the OT goal to win the gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics. Even though I was tired my mood changed completely and I was happy all night long.

I didn't bother watching because I had no hope. I figured if my phone started going nuts something big happened. Did not refresh twitter.

The feeling I had was like when I heard John Short announce we got Pronger lol times 2.

My first texts came from BC. Butt hurt ones lol.

Then I started grinning like a giddy girl and my wife said I looked creepy.

Then I took out the Scotch (Glen) and celebrated. Round two is tonight.
