Reilly was admiring his pass.
Hyman 2 games suspension coming
Wonder what the reaction would be if that had been Matthews on the receiving end?Nighty night. Can't admire your pass in this league, seeing too much of that lately.
Bruins fan criticizing another fanbase for defending something dirty...that's rich lmao.Scum hit, but leaf fans will defend it of course.
Just like Hyman.Wagner went after Rielly cause he's a cheap mother****er.
The first page has done that beautifully. This thread will sum up the Toronto fan base nicely
Its 37 year old Ron Hainsey, what did you expect? I commend him for stepping up for his teammate.
Very adult of you. He's back on the bench. You can all dry up those tears now.
Slightly? It was slightly late. 2 minute interference.
Not sure why this is a thread this happens literally every game.
Rome got 4 games for a hit 0.4 seconds late in the playoffs. Does this mean this will be 8?ROFL the hit was actually calculated as 0.4 seconds late. Nice try though.
Yes I did cheer - not because McAvoy got hurt, but because I was happy Hyman finished his check and that the Leafs were responding physically.
It was late hit worthy of a penalty but nothing more. Nobody around me was calling for Hyman's head or for him to be suspended.
I sat down and a guy commented that the hit was a bit late but McAvoy didn't defend himself.
I am going to just give you the benefit of the doubt that you already know they aren't even remotely comparable and your just a little worked up.Rome got 4 games for a hit 0.4 seconds late in the playoffs. Does this mean this will be 8?
You finish your checks in order to intimidate. It works very well since soft players get rushed once they know there are incoming hits. Anyone who have played hockey knows this.i don't see the need for the hit there
What section were you sitting in?
Why should someone defend themselves from a late hit? That makes zero sense.
Boston was hitting late all game. Later hits than that, and this was a clean hit in every other way. This is nothing. 2 min at most.
The real disgusting, suspension-worthy play was that cheap, flying, clearly intentional headshot right after on Rielly.
Just like Hyman.
Was wagner's hit retaliation for that terrible hit by Hyman?
In fairness he did more backing up than standing up.Its 37 year old Ron Hainsey, what did you expect? I commend him for stepping up for his teammate.
In fairness he did more backing up than standing up.
You can quote me if you are going to refer to me I think Wagner was going for his head. I didn't say I knew anything, I think he was going for his head....Rielly saw him in time and was able to brace for it. He didn't catch him in the head so it doesn't really matter.simply funny that you dont seem to care yet know Wagner was head hunting
Live by the sword, die by the sword.Little late, not nearly as predatory as Wagner going for a retaliatory cheapshot on Rielly though
