How perfect a hockey player is Ryan O'Reilly?

Note I didn't say he was the best player! As a Sabres fan I watch this guy's every shift, I've never seen a player like this, he's a machine, doesn't cheat the game for one second of any game he plays in. Best Sabres player since Lafontaine in my opinion.

Definitely one of the hardest workers in the league, just relentless. Reminds me of Bergeron and Marchand a bit, just doesn't seem to take a shift off.

Very heavy work ethic. Loves training...Loves drills...Loves hockey. Willing to play any position a team needs.

He's a very well rounded player. He's the Sabres swiss army knife.

Love the player. I bet Avs fans will happily take Gardiner or Kadri now that they have seen what they got for him.

Leafs should have tried hard to get him. You can count on him in every situation.

They were all very young, it's way too early to tell. Zadorov is literally starting his NHL career this year, Grigorenko is playing in the top 6 and Compher will become an NHL player next year. We'll see.

I wish the Islanders got him back when he got traded. He's worth the money he's getting paid for the most part and would have solidified our special teams units and their secondary scoring.

I'm afraid that the BUF coach didn't learn when ROR ran out of gas last year. I just looked at his TOI last night and it's nearly 25 minutes, on par with the top pair dmen on both teams.

Now I'm no health specialist but it's an insane amount of minutes for a forward, expecially someone that works his ass off like ROR. Didn't he have back issues just days ago also?

He is a really awesome player. Wish the Avs could have kept him, but we couldn't fit his salary. And that's not to say he isn't worth that much, because he is. Just all around is a really solid player.

Also, about his training, there is a video of him and his bro working out one summer, pretty cool to watch.

You're either perfect or you're not.

He's not. He is a well-rounded and excellent hockey player, though.

Will fix everything
And he has a big bushy beard without going into Burns/Thorton level of crazy prospector beards.

Only thing he's done wrong is mistaking a drive thru and drive in.

I wouldn't take Gardiner & Kadri over Zadorov alone, nevermind Zadorov & Grigorenko & Compher & a pick that we turned into Greer & Morrison.
