I'm older than at least 94% of the people responding. Age doesn't necessarily bring any great wisdom but it does make it easier to recognize trends and temper expectations regarding unproven prospects.

Man, I hate discussions like this cause then I end up realizing that we all die, I try to ignore that fact every day.

Ya, I want to die in my sleep like my Grandfather did. Not like the passengers in his car screaming!

I am 49. Turn 50 in May. Not looking forward to it....

I was pretty ecstatic at how young I felt before I turned 50, and still being able to play good hockey against younger men and being faster than a lot of them.

Then on my 50th Birthday it hit me like a ton of bricks, realizing that it ain't mid-life. I'm already on the down skid...... Turning 52 this month SUCKS!
