Just a random question, has puzzled me for a while but I was to lazy to go through every player in last year's draft.
Normally a hand full every year. By handful I mean 5-10.
A lot more than this.Normally a hand full every year. By handful I mean 5-10.
A lot more than this.
EDIT: Just a quick look at the 2010 draft, I get 35. That includes players also eligible in their 3rd and 4th years.
What's the exact cutoff date?
Benoit Pouliot is born on Sept. 29. 1986.
According to wikipedia: All players who will be 18 years old by September 15... ...are eligible for selection for that year's NHL Entry Draft
A lot more than this.

Nope. Just going back one more year, in 2009, I count 49 previously eligible players drafted.Wow that's alot. Has to be the most in the recent years.
I think Claude Giroux waas drafted in his 2nd year and David Perron
