But I learned Vrana is the next Draisaitl in another thread. How could the Oilers pass?!? 
I dunno how the answer can be no if there is a good argument that those pieces on a Draisaitl led team would be cup favorites
These trade proposal are useless, it could make sense if McDavid would be 29 and the oilers had a shitty team with no farm.

Other than nostalgia I dunno how McDavid is untouchable because the Oilers have 2 McDavids.
If any player in the league can be called untouchable it's probably him.
He's the most untouchable player in the league. That's not really up for debate.

Only way in hell he’s traded is if he forces his way out. Then we trade him for a young 1C + 1d ++. Eg. Eichel + Dahlin +, Mack + Makar, Petterson + Hughes +... you get the point.
having a solid 1-2 tandem down the middle is what wins you stanley cup.
Mcdavid is a tier higher than Draisaitl, if they would have to trade one of them, wich they wouldn't. it wouldn't be a question...
The only trade Oilers consider is Ovechkin + a time machine

If I were the Oilers I wouldn't trade McDavid or Drai for anyone on the Caps. If Ovechkin were Drai's age? 100% but definitely not now.
Washington would be absolutely stupid to make this trade. This would make the capitals the worst team in the NHL McDavid is so overrated. Mackinnon with his contract>>>>>McDavid and it’s not even debatable. This trade would probably win the oilers 3-4 Stanley cups and go down as the best sports team ever assembled in professional sports history yet the oilers decline. Factor in the oilers will probably land a 1st overall pick with one of those and Shane Write will be better then McDavid.
Lol at the fact you think McDavid is worth 6 million more then Mackinnon. Those are all absolutely terrible for the other teams. The gap between McDavid and a player like Eichel isnt the Next Nicklas Lindstrom who i could possibly see being more valuable then McDavid in a few years as dman take more time to develop

Might be time for a little fresh air here.
Last time it was Matthews. Now it's McDavid. Neither are realistically going anywhere -- especially McDavid.
There's no better player in the league and nothing of equal or better value to trade for McDavid. Multiple pieces don't make the whole when you're discussing the World's best player.
Maybe the first three responses to your proposal -- no, no and no -- could have caught your attention but it seems you're not catching the drift.
