My guesses...

McDavid - 27G - 47A - 74P
Hall - 34G - 44A - 78P
Nugent-Hopkins - 26G - 42A - 68P
Eberle - 29G - 38A - 67P
Yakupov - 27G - 27A - 54P

If those players hit those numbers and Pouliot, Lander and Purcell can combine for 45 goals might have a chance at a wild card spot. IF they brought in 2 legit top 4 dman I would add 3-5 points to each player.

I have a feeling with McDavid we are going to get a lot more Power plays, see lots of hooking tripping calls on him with his skating (honestly might be best skater in NHL already next year) and the refs/league wanting to protect the player. Calls often go in the stars favor.

50pts would be a good start for him... The rules were a lot different when Crosby was a rookie...

If Gaudreau, Stone and Forsberg hit 50 I think McDavid can hit 60 at least. I think he'll be in the high 60's.

Very true. Though the East is generally more wide open nowadays, so that could help pick #2 more (I don't dare mention his name). West tends to be more defense oriented, so that could cause problems to start for the kid. :p:

Gaudreau was given prime offensive minutes.. EDM has way too many skill players to get An Oiler the same chances. Of he crosses 20 goals and 50 pts playing behind RNH then that is fine by me. PPG would be expected Soon enough but no harm in easing in.

I went with 50-64 because the Oilers factor requires a reduction of 20 points

It really depends on if we get a defense that can play hockey... I'm going to say about 60 points. I also refuse to call him the next one!

I think you're forgetting that Gaudreau is 21, Forsberg is 20, and Stone is 22. McDavid is only 18 at the moment

i voted less than 50, but i don't think it will be a lot less... he is going to get 2nd line EV time and 2nd PP time....he is also going to be spending a lot, a LOT, of time in his own zone because we have the worst d-corps in the NHL.... something around 17g-28a would be my guess, although i wouldn't be shocked to see him get as high as 60 points either

if we re-vamp our D by a large margin, then i could see mcdavid doing better though

Assuming an 82 game year less than 50 would be a worse rate than any of Hall, RNH or Yakupov in their rookie years. And there's no question McDavid will have the best support in terms of shelter/linemates than any of those three.

He is by an order of magnitude a better prospect than any of those three. As a junior level player he was on an entirely different level than these three. By a very large degree.

Some NHL'ers are on the record last summer saying he could of scored 50 to 60 points this year as a 17 year old. PPG this year is not out of the question. The hype is real.

I said 50-64, but I really think it's 60-70. I am curious if he can play a full schedule.

I do have to ask, who are these people that are saying he's better than crosby at the same age? I keep hearing people saying "some say that McDavid is better than Crosby', but no one really comes out and says "I think McDavid is better than Crosby". It's kinda funny.

Probably the 5% who voted 100+ pts for him as a rookie ..

McDavid at 17 was better than anyone of those players will ever be.

This really needs to stop. If he was that good he would've destroyed everyone at the WJC. He was great, but it's not like he was producing at some stupid level and left everyone behind.

A little early without seeing what puck movers this team adds in the summer, but I'd be disappointed if the kids don't hit the following numbers:

Eberle 30 goals, 75 points
Hall 30 goals, 75 points
RNH 25 goals, 70 points
McDavid 20 goals, 65 points
Yakupov 20 goals, 55 points
