Amazing, what is the first that you remember?

My great grand-father is in his 90s so he has all of you beat.

Unfortunately he doesn't understand how computers or internet works, so he misses on the opportunity to come here and gloat about it :biglaugh:

To be honest, I can't claim that I remember the 6 in the 50s.

The first one when I was glued to the TV was 1965.

That season, Claude Provost, a defensive specialist (Bobby Hull's shadow), was our leading scorer during the regular season.

Are you SURE? Because you could be adopted with a fake birth certificate..... :dunno:

Pretty sure I was born in 1949.

I was there after all. ;)

My dad is like you he was born in 46 and has seen and been to many which is why he has taken me to all of mine. I was born in 69 and my parents had me in Montreal for the cup celebration that year.

Being a Ranger fan for going on 45 years now, I have obviously only one. But as Sam Rosen said at the time the final seconds ticked off vs Vancouver, "it will last a lifetime". That really is so true. I recall at the parade, I had a sign saying "I can now die in peace". I wasn't kidding. Seeing that I likely only have a few decades left on this earth that we know it, that Cup will likely have to do seeing despite the fact my boys will likely always be competitive and in the mix unless something pretty remarkable occurs, I'm not expecting all to many more Cups or parades in my future.

That said, that '94 Cup run was so epic and so memorable even if we don't win another one before I ultimately kick the bucket, I at least experienced a Cup and a parade that was one of the highlights of my life and so I can live with that despite my desire for another one or two...:)

Montreal.......................8.

I've been pretty fortunate, but I deserve it since I was smart enough to pick the best team in the league hands down when i was very very young.
