How do the Wizards make the big trade for Russ, have Beal leading the league in scoring, and are still 3rd worst in the league at 6-16?

Westbrick is a hard player to win with even during his prime.
He is 32 now.
This is to be expected.

Also...
Wizards play no defense.
I am surprised when any team does not score 150 points on that team.

Sources: John Wall, Houston Rockets meet and mutually agree to work together on finding a new home for the five-time All-Star guard. Plan is for Wall to be present at training camp, but not play in Rockets games this season.

When the MAX contract backfires

I would be SHOCKED if somebody willingly took on that deal unless they are getting just insane amount of picks.

No one's touching that deal. Wall was already overrated when he signed that deal given how awful defensively and inefficient he was as a scorer. Now throw in the years lost to injury and him slowing down? No thanks.

I would say the Rockets should call their old buddy Darryl Morey and see if they could get Ben Simmons since that's probably the only way they get anything resembling value for Wall but outside of that i can't see him moving

Hot take, maybe. No one takes Wall and he goes overseas. We'll never see him play an NBA game again.

Such an overrated player, but good on him for taking advantage of Grunfield/Leonsis, gotta give him props there. Liked him at first but after 2017 it was clear he wasn't taking any team past round 2.

Wall only has this year and next left on his deal...

The Raps don't have expendable contracts necessary to package them with Dragic to make a deal happen, otherwise I'd be okay having Wall in Toronto for a couple of seasons
