Wow lotta Bruin hate here.
No suspension was warranted the Bruins took care of it on the ice. Proud of McAvoy to get right back up and not milk it and then respond with a hit of hit own on Hornqvist.
Bruins response was exactly what you want to see as a fan.
hate=disagreeing with your thoughts. Seems very NA.

The hit is against the rules. If the face is a part of the head, and it is, then that hit was illegal and should have gotten 2, possibly bumped up to 5 for blood on the ice.

He didn't get a suspension because 1: Penguins, and 2: things can be against the rules and not rise to the level of supplemental discipline. Not the same as the hit being legal.

A 5 minute major can't be assessed for a hit to the head penalty. It has to be either a minor penalty or a match penalty

48.5 Match Penalty – The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a match penalty if, in his judgment, the player attempted to or deliberately injured his opponent with an illegal check to the head.

would love to hear how someone can say forsberg deserved 3 games with no history yet this gets zero. nothing, not even a fine?

As a bruins fan, even one that is actually primarily back because of charlie. I don't see the need for hornqvist to miss games over this.
