Bissonnette is on a PTO with Portland. If signed, he'll be a depth signing for the Pirates to replace the guys that come up here to Glendale.

The odds of him being a Coyote again are still very remote.

we lost Francis Wathier on Saturday against Syracuse who was also on a PTO which prompted that signing.

Just curious how his pay works... his NHL salary is $550,000 according to Capgeek. $550,000/82 = $6707. So he get paid whenever he is on the rooster of 22 or 23 even if he doesn't play in the game, right?

As I understand it, they get paid per day on the active roster, not per game played. Even if he's getting Rundbladded, he's still getting his NHL salary if he's in Glendale.

Edit: to be clear, calendar day. $550,000/180 = $3,055 per day. Don't know how often Gosbee does a direct deposit into Hodgman's Chase account, but it's per calendar day, not per hockey game.
