The Colorado Avalanche are willing to listen to offers on their captain Milan Hejduk. Both sides have agreed that this might be the best move for Hejduk and the team. Hejduk loves Colorado and really doesn't want to move but would wavie his NTC to go to a team that could win the Cup this season. But much like Keith Tkachuk before him, Hejduk WILL re-sign with the Avalanche in the off-season. Which means any trade for Hejduk would just be for a playoff run. Hejduk's life and family is in Denver and will come back home after the 2011-12 season.

The Colorado Avalanche is happy to announce the re-signing of Peter Mueller to a 3-year contract. Mueller have had a tough past two seasons but we feel he is finally back at his top level.
