Again, your ignorance to the rapper's success is on large here. Stop pretending that you actually know what you're talking about here.
For example, his second album released in 96 was better than his intro album. Based off a reputable source: "
Tha Doggfather charted at number one on both the US
Billboard 200 and
Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. To date, the album sold two million copies in the United States and sold better internationally than its predecessor, "Doggystyle" (1993)."
If we look at his later albums released in 2008 "Ego Trippin"
Reputable source: "The album debuted at number 3 on the US
Billboard 200, selling 137,000 copies in its first week"
Fairly successful even 12 years later.
His latest album in 2018 sold over 3,000 copies during the first week.
Snoop is not as successful as he was in his prime, but his music still till this day generates respectable positive reviews. Snoop has shown that he's much more about music. Snoop isn't one of those generic rappers who sticks to just music. He's a cultural, and media icon who promotes diversity around the world, and generates trends daily.
I prefer Ice Cube over him too, but let's not dismiss the achievements and feats Snoop has accomplished in his life.
