The last two questions I don't think we've settled in concrete yet:

Are we adding two more bench slots for prospects?
What is the definition of a prospect for this league?

1. No need in my opinion.
2. Calder trophy eligibility?

I think we need two spots for prospects.

Otherwise we draft them, then drop them (and need an honor system so others don't claim them), only to pick up two new players. Everyone scrambles the waiver wire right after the draft.

Definition for prospect, to me, would be Calder eligibility.

For the record, I don't mind adding two prospects if you guys feel like it. :)

Calder eligible sounds good. That way the prospects status would only be updated yearly.

I'm in favor of adding bench slots to accommodate and having to keep your prospects on your roster at all times.

If three more people are in favor of adding bench slots for prospects I'll add the slots before the draft today.

I've increased the number of bench slots by two to accomodate prospects.

For those of us who will unfortunately be autodrafting, it will be your responsibility to make sure you've got two prospects by the time the regular season starts if you've got a full bench.

And just a reminder that you should be able to draft on your phone.

So I know I'm not in your league, but I had a draft with some people today too, and I felt like sharing my team here instead of in another thread that it doesn't belong in. It's an 8 team league.

Nick Foligno-Tyler Seguin-Dustin Byfuglien
Tomas Tatar-Joe Pavelski-Nino Niederreiter
Tyler Toffoli-Jeff Carter-Bryan Little
Jack Eichel

Erik Karlsson-Kris Letang
John Carlson-Tyson Barrie
John Klingberg-Matt Dumba

Devan Dubnyk
Semyon Varlamov

Only forwards that can't play multiple forward positions are Eichel and Niederreiter, which is awesome for versatility, and Byfuglien is listed as D/RW.

Format is 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1 Utility, 2G play at a time. Forwards I think are a little weak but I think my D makes up for it.

The other thing is with such a small league, there are still tons of free agents available who can make an impact if my guys start slipping.

Anyway..

So, everyone knows the two slots I added to the bench are to accomodate prospects right?

So, everyone should declare who their prospects are that haven't already.
