Fosco is correct. There is no basis for the contract of Anderson MacDonald to be terminated. The CBA passage for contract termination is the following


"If a player meets the following criteria, they are eligible to have their contract terminated by a team:

The player has either signed in a league outside of North America in real life (but was under contract in North America when their HFVHL deal was signed), or has officially retired from hockey.

The player's HFVHL contract is not a 35+ contract."

Anderson Macdonald's contract will remain on the books unless proof is given he has met the above criteria.
