Welcome to HFVHL's 5th season !

- We are moving back to the original divisions of Pacific, Central, Atlantic and Metropolitan.

- Like the NHL, HFVHL will have the 32nd team in the league, the Seattle Kraken be part of the Pacific. Arizona has moved to the Central Division as well.

- HFVHL will follow the NHL in returning to the previous playoff seeding of the top 3 teams per division + 2 conference wild-card spots


Important Dates:

October 12th - Season Opener

Trade Deadline - March 22nd(Not confirmed yet). HFVHL’s deadline will be at midnight .

2022 NHL Draft - July 7th-8th. HFVHL’s draft will take place earlier.

2022 NHL Free Agent Period: Sometime after the draft. Official date will come.

Termination of Pulkkinen is void as he was overseas when signed and thus the European signing termination option is not available.

Per the CBA "The player has either signed in a league outside of North America in real life (but was under contract in North America when their HFVHL deal was signed"

I'd recommend everyone review their roster's waiver eligibility before the season starts. I updated it all during the offseason but considering it was a hefty update, a few may have been incorrectly entered. If you have any questions regarding a players waiver eligibility, send me a message
