Announcements for the offseason:
-Dusty has stepped down as Eastern agent due to time issues. ATC will be the main point of contact for re-signings, and a form will be used for FA (coming soon). Please be patient as he tries to get back to everyone.
-NTC's have changed. From now on, the lists will be a collection of teams the player will refuse to go to, instead of destinations that he would accept to. Moving forward the number can be negotiated from 6 to 16 (in increments of 2), but all existing NTC's will be 12 team No lists, and NMCs are 16 team No lists. The lists will be collated as the bottom X amount of teams in the standings as of the most recent month of play. This way there can be no issues of Agents "influence" in if a player will waive or not, if you want a player to join, you need to improve your team to show you're legit.
-It was stated last offseason but deserves a reminder, the contract limit will be set at 60 this year, 55 for 22-23, and then 50 for 23-24.
-Also, Draft eligibility has been changed to match NHL eligibility. Draft ages for the 2022 draft are players born between January 1, 2002, and September 15, 2004. Additionally, un-drafted, non-North American players born in 2001 are eligible for the draft. Any player that would have needed to be drafted in our new rules that now is too old for the draft is now a free agent.
