Fairly happy with the results coming out of draft "day" this year. Turned a 2018 2nd, a couple 2019 picks, Brayden Burke, Brayden McNabb, and Ryan McDonagh into four 2018 1st round picks, two picks in the top 100 of next years draft (including a 1st), Nick Suzuki, Jordan Martinook, Brandon Carlo, Jan Rutta, and Jack Rathbone.

After a fairly successful "weekend" in Dallas, we are now preparing ourselves for Free Agency. Our plan now is to try to acquire 1-2 young forwards who are either currently in the NHL or going to make the jump next season. We are fairly happy with our defence and goalie situation at the moment but wouldn't mind picking up another offensive minded defender if the opportunity was available.
