The Detroit Red Wings have signed emerging star Swiss winger Nino Niederreiter to a 4 year, 20.5M contract with an AAV of 5.125M per year. Nino emerged this year with a career high 57 points in 82 games earning himself a big pay-day.

The Detroit Red Wings have also re-signed their goalie of the future, Connor Hellebuyck. Connor signs a 2 year deal work 2.75M per season at a total value of 5.5 million. The Wings and Connor both felt this was fair as a bridge to see what he can do in the next few seasons before evaluating his contract again. ​
