HFOil Nostradamus Game '13 - '14 | WINNERS: Soli & Replacement

I tried this a couple of seasons ago but never followed through with it. I've streamlined it (that is to say, I think I've streamlined it...) and want to give it another try.

It's simple enough. I've asked a question in the form of a poll, you predict the answer to that question in that poll and on your own score card.

At the end of the season (or when the question is answered), if you were correct, you get one point. If you were wrong, you get zero points. If you were right and your answer was in the minority (as determined by the poll), you get an additional one point.

IE: The first question is who will have more goals, Smyth or Joensuu. If you answered Joensuu, and he was the minority answer in the poll results, you get 2 points.

I've also added two potential tie breakers. Predict where the Oilers finish in the Division and in the Conference.

Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins bragging rights. Place side bets as you'd like (aviaters, stocks or bonds, girlfriends), that's always humorous.


I've simplified the scorecard system so I can copy and paste them on to the table myself. What I need from you is to place your entry like such:

I tried this during the '11-'12 season but didn't follow it to the finish. Someone could dig it up and find the correct answers, but I pretty much abandoned it.

This one is easier for me to keep track of since I posted all the questions at once and simplified the score card entries. We wont know most of the answers unless season ending injuries (knock on wood) occur or a Captain is named until the end of the season.
