I was like.... "those two letters don't go together", so I had to look his name up.
Anaheim selects:
Martin Pospisil - RW - Sioux City - USHL
There is another Alexander Romanov, a forward with the same birth year...probably not overly important as they play different positionsI was like.... "those two letters don't go together", so I had to look his name up.
How important is this "S"? Is this for "Sasha"?
The Minnesota Wild select Cole Krygier, defenseman, Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
Nice pick. Could slip into one of the later rounds in the actual draft. Although I'd probably compare him to Teddy Purcell more than Maroon. He's got the size but doesn't play with the aggressiveness that Patty does. Brazeau has an excellent release on his shot, good puck protection and has decent straight line speed. He also scores a lot of goals in the dirty areas. With pick 185 Tampa selects Justin Brazeau from North Bay of the OHL.
@McVirginOil and the Jets are up! (Also PM'd)
This hulking winger put up 39 goals this year in the OHL, impressive even though he is 20 years old. Steady improvement each year, notably in his patience with the puck and skating stride. Able to help his team in all situations.
Best possible outcome: Patrick Maroon
2 (61) - Ivan Morozov - RUS - RC - 6'1" 185 lbs. - SKA St. Petersburg (KHL)
3 (92) - Gabriel Fortier - CAN - C/LW - 5'10" 190 lbs. - Baie-Comeau (QMJHL)
4 (123) - Joey Keane - USA - RD - 6'0 185 lbs. - Barrie (OHL)
5 (154) - Dmitri Zavgorodny - RUS - C/LW - 5'9" 161 lbs. - Rimouski (QMJHL)
6 (185) - Justin Brazeau - CAN - RW - 6'6" 220 lbs. - North Bay (OHL)
7 (206)
7 (216)
I must say this is the first time in this draft that I had to look up a prospect...never heard of him and don’t know if it would be possible to find a highlight of him. Lol.The Sabres are excited for the 7th round, pick is on the way shortly
With the first pick in the 7th Round of the 2018 HF Oilers Mock Draft, the Buffalo Sabres selection, from NY High School, Buffalo native, Defenseman Gabriel Blanchard
@Joey Moss you're on the clock
