With the 156th pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, the Detroit Red Wings are proud to select from Kolner Haie of the DEL, Defenseman, Maximilian Glotzl!

upload_2020-5-31_15-48-19.png

"We are excited to step up and add a countryman for Seider in the pipeline. Glotzl was nearly PPG in the junior league as a defenseman in Germany. He saw a couple games in the 2nd german league and the DEL which is a strong statement for a teenager on the blueline. He's a strong skater, has good size and is an excellent passer. He has a big, yet inaccurate shot. A long term project that could boom or become a reliable depth defenseman"

Wings draft to date:
1. Alexis Lafreniere
32. Ozzy Weisblatt
52. Theodor Niederbach
58. Emil Heineman
63. Joel Blomqvist
65. Dmitri Ovchinnikov
114. Connor McClennon
125. Artem Shlaine
156. Maximillian Glotzl

With pick #157, the Tampa Bay Lightnings are proud to select, from Sherbrooke of the QMJHL, forward Patrick Guay .
patrickguay.jpg

''
He's a small winger who can also play center. A high pick in the 2018 QMJHL Draft, Poulin had 40 points as a second year player this season. He is more of a sniper then a playmaker for now but he's got the offensive awareness, defensive awareness, hockey IQ, and attitude you want a well rounded pro forward to have.''

@MarkovsKnee
is up next.

With the 159th pick, the LA Kings select from Moscow Dynamo SP,....forward Dmitry Rashevsky.

upload_2020-5-31_18-3-7.jpeg

Rashevsky is a late bloomer from Russia who led the MHL with 44 goals after only scoring 4 goals the previous season when he went undrafted. Dmitry caught fire in the second half of the season. He has a heavy shot and quick release. He plays RW but shoots left.

LA Kings picks:

#4 (1) - Jamie Drysdale - RD - Canada
#35 (2) - Eemil Viro - LD - Finland
#48 (2) - Emil Andrae - LD - Sweden
#55 (2) - Jaromir Pytlick - C- Czech Republic
#66 (3) - Ty Smilanic - C- USA
#80 (3) - Yan Kuznetsov - LD - Russia
#97 (4) - Dylan Peterson - C - USA
#107 (4) - Dmitri Zlodeyev - C - Russia
#128 (5) - Drew Commesso - G - USA
#159 (6) - Dmitry Rashevsky - RW - Russia

I’m in the process of moving and don’t have much time or internet. If someone wants to pick for Arizona/Winnipeg, go ahead. Or auto it right away. Don’t want to keep everyone waiting longer.

Anyone interested ? I have 2 teams already so my hands are pretty full . It would be kind of a shame to just auto everything though.

I can if no one is up for it, not a lot of pick left! I'm off work for the next 2 days, just gonna work on my finance classes, so I'll be on a computer 16h a day! But I don't really know their current prospects pool.

Sweet! It's much better than just auto-ing every pick in my book. I don't think @Tomas Tatahhh would have any objection to you taking those teams over, you can go forward from there when you're ready.

With #161 pick in the 2020 NHL draft the New Jersey Devils are proud to select, from Portland of the WHL.
RW/LW Simon Knak 6’1” 187lbs
upload_2020-6-1_10-44-57.png

Swiss winger with good size, he’s a left-handed shot who likes to play on the right side. Good forechecking abilities and is able to turn the puck over through his hustle and grit. He’s a reliable two-way player with good offensive tools. Uses his size, reach and fluid movement, he is also a solid puck handler and passer.

#6 LW Lucas Raymond 5’10” 168lbs
#10 C Anton Lundell 6’2” 181lbs
#17 RW Dawson Mercer 6’ 171lbs
#99 D Thimo Nickl 6’2” 161lbs
#116 D Simon Kubicek 6’2” 198lbs
#124 G Jan Bednar 6’4” 183lbs
#130 RW Bogdan Trineev 6’3” 180lbs
#161 RW Simon Knak 6’1” 187lbs

Thank you. Much appreciated
No worries, I have Pittsburg with only a 6th left and I like to follow the thread to see the other picks! So it's win-win. Take care of yourself while moving with the virus and all!

:hawks are proud to select, from Warroad High in the USHS-MN, F Grant Slukynsky.

BHS_Grant_Slukynsky_5_large.jpeg

"One of the top all-around centers among North American high schoolers, Slukynsky was the heart and soul of a Warroad squad that returned to state for the first time since 2010. He can beat you in multiple ways — passing, shooting, hitting, checking — but he also brings a no-nonsense approach to every shift. He was the Warriors’ leader both on and off the ice, and his senior season was dominant from wire to wire. Slukynsky does have -great- hands, vision, can pass with aplomb and his shot is deceptively quick. Not a flashy skater, but a powerful one with good balance that allows him to protect the puck well along the boards." (Steve Kournianos)

"His downfall ? The low level of opposition he faced so far. But at this point in the draft, he's a great gamble to make." (me)

@Carl182 and Arizona are on the clock, and will be PMed.

Arizona selects from Kootenay Ice Owen Pederson.
Was part of a great offensive commity in Winnipeg where he was able to score 20 goals
He knows where to go on the ice to score, has good skating for his size and great hands to finish the play.

Winnipeg selects from Red Deer Rebels Ben King.
Ben realy took off after being trade of this disaster team that was the Broncos.
Big right hand winger, he has decent skating and good hands around the net to complete the plays.

P.S. Him and Pederson are really similar prospect for me. I don't know if you will get the comparaison but for me, those types of prospect could be the new version of Wayne Simmonds. Big guy with good reach able to create good forecheck and go in front of the net to block the goalies vision with good enough hands to complete plays.
