For me the Panthers punched their ticket into the playoffs with this win. Didn't necessarily like Tampa's performance in couple of their games so wasn't sure how to feel about those wins, but Carolina was in a great spot here, showed up to play and still lost.

Obviously shouldn't say that this early but only good teams win this hockey game, and considering their pts % so far and teams like Dallas and Columbus not doing all that great + the shortened season, can't see them missing.

Gonna be a heck of a fight for that 4th spot. Dallas or Columbus will end up disappointed.
