Big game between the flyers and pens today. If the flyers win in regulation, they are only 4 points back of the playoffs and suddenely it doesn't look like such a stretch.

A loss pretty much sinks any chance of of making the playoffs.

There’s like 25 games left. That’s a very inaccurate statement to say the least.

6 points can be made up very quickly in today’s NHL. And it’s not like there are others that aren’t right there with the Pens for the 5th/6th spit.

Being 8 points back and needing to pass 3 teams (plus hoping the rangers right behind you also don't play well) with 26 games left to play is not an impossible spot to make the playoffs, but at that point it is definitely a long shot.

This is probably the biggest game of the season for the Flyers.
