Big game between the flyers and pens today. If the flyers win in regulation, they are only 4 points back of the playoffs and suddenely it doesn't look like such a stretch.
A loss pretty much sinks any chance of of making the playoffs.
This is how I see it too.
There’s like 25 games left. That’s a very inaccurate statement to say the least.
6 points can be made up very quickly in today’s NHL. And it’s not like there are others that aren’t right there with the Pens for the 5th/6th spit.
Being 8 points back and needing to pass 3 teams (plus hoping the rangers right behind you also don't play well) with 26 games left to play is not an impossible spot to make the playoffs, but at that point it is definitely a long shot.
This is probably the biggest game of the season for the Flyers.
Is tonight the night the Caps get things turned around and start rolling or another step closer to a WC spot for L.A?
Pittsburgh and Philly have had some great battles, important game there too.
Pens/Flyers rivalry still got life in it?
Might be a good one today since Flyers are only 6 points behind the Pens I think. Hopefully we get a good one
Murray coming up with a couple of big saves
Gotta bury at least one of those gorgeous chances, Flyers. Great breakouts galore.
Wow. That must be one of the easiest goals Crosby has scored. Hart just lost track of that puck
That was an odd goal.
Someone edit the Flyers wiki to properly recognize its true owner in Sid Crosby
Crosby’s line just gets chances like crazy every game. Already 4-5 solid chances for each team to score. Should be an exciting game.
95 points in 65 games against the Flyers.
"Crosby Sucks" amiright???!!!???
Flyers fans should start cheering him to see if they can reverse the mojo Crosby has.
Every time the Penguins go on the power play I cringe. I expect the other team to have better chances
The Penguins won’t make the playoffs unless they can figure out their power play.
It has been god awful for almost a month now.
Can’t stack the first PP because they go full blown ****** and give up short handed opportunities every penalty.
Malkin clearly hooked a Flyers player and there was no call. Is that not a penalty anymore?
Why are the flyers trying to act tough at every opportunity. They're right up there with the pens as one of the softest rosters in the NHL.
Crosby is to the Flyers what Alfredsson was to the Bolts or Iginla vs Edmonton
You can almost always bank on him getting a point.
Gudas or Simmonds would destroy any player on the Pens.
Cool. They're still one of the softest rosters in the league. Simmonds I'll give you. But Gudas is a fake tough guy..
Cool. Who on the Pens takes on Gudas without getting wrecked?
Separate names with a comma.
