Ya never know. I had a similar incident when I was a kid, probably 16 or so, turned out okay. Not great, mind you, as it certainly did some lasting damage that I feel to this day, but it could have been a lot worse.

If he is only gone for 8 weeks that would be a positive after seing that replay. That looks like a torn acl injury which is like 4-6 months isn't it?
