Refs needed to call something from that scrum on the icing play a few minutes back, either the shot off the faceoff or the cross check to the ribs in response. Not surprised this blew up when they refused to call anything during that shift that let to the dust up.

Capitals used body contact (which, although not popular, is still legal), to dislodge the Ducks from the puck. Resulting in the Ducks being upset that some team still hits. And then decided to punch players while the ref is holding them.
