Who's the new analyst on the NHL Network? He's on tonight with Weekes on the far righthand side, he was also on last night with Weekes... Familiar face but I can't place the name...

Draisaitl is trying to force the issue every.damn.time.

It's a shame we don't have any elite talent on the team outside of McDavid.:(

Drasaitl is another passer/playmaker - him and McDavid just don't work on the PP.

Every team wants more than one elite talent :)

Run over? He is aware he's playing professional hockey I hope.

56.2 Minor Penalty - A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who
interferes with or impedes the progress of an opponent who is not in
possession of the puck.
A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who restrains an
opponent who is attempting to “fore-check.”
A minor penalty shall be imposed on an attacking player who
deliberately checks a defensive player, including the goalkeeper, who
is not in possession of the puck.

You can't knock a guy over when he doesn't have the puck. Just like you can't whistle the play down as icing when a team is shorthanded.

Interference
(a) A minor penalty shall be assessed to any player who interferes with or impedes the progress of an opponent who is not in possession of the puck (see Glossary).

Yeah thanks, I'm aware of interference being a rule. That's Tkachuk's ice just as much as it's Schmidts, Schmidt just folded like a tent as soon as he was touched. Good no call.

Doesn't matter whose ice it is, he can be in the ice but he can't bowl him over.

You do know we still employ Wideman, right?:laugh::laugh::laugh:

You did see that goal, right?:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

It is so hard to just enjoy McDavid's play when the commentators keep telling me that EVERYTHING he does is the best its ever been done.

Saucer passes happen all the time Mr. Ferrero.

He didn't bowl him over, he pushed for the spot and Schmidt fell down. That play happens countless times in a game but typically they don't fall down from something like that.

They just spent 5 minutes talking about Hoffman not scoring yet this year and he scores as soon as he gets on the ice

conspiracy

Wake me when Calgary gets 3 goals off of officials like against Buffalo.

One despite a whistle blowing, one literally off an officials skate and one because they decided tripping players late in regulation and crosschecking from behind in OT aren't penalties anymore.

Until then...it's just another day

Repeating and bolding the font doesn't make you anymore right. He didn't even put a shoulder into him. Schmidt was just weak on his skates.

Obvious slewfoot, dirty rat, suspend plz etc.

This is a new narrative; Flames actually benefit from the refs. I'll enjoy this one for a while until people decide to watch the games and realize it's wildly untrue.

oilers look sluggish tonight. I mean they are playing alright defensively but their offense is nonexistent.
