Eh, just going by overall record and recent play, nothing more. Only 2 teams ahead of the sharks, recordwise, at the moment, and the caps are in freefall. Kinda felt like it would have been an upset if the caps won, but that's subjective I suppose.

But just so you know, only two teams (flames/islanders) have a better record than the sharks over the past 10 games as well. But yes, they had a bad 3-4 game stretch defensively. It's a matter of perspective.
