Yeah, I expected a prospect swap for Kaut/Bowers the last two trade deadlines. Bowers I can see why there wouldn't be much interest, but Kaut has pedigree and a respectable AHL record, surely there's some team out there who wants to take a swing on him.

Probably because they needed Kaut for the AHL playoffs. Usually when they dump prospects like him at the deadline it’s for AHL vets and they didn’t need that for the Eagles this year. I guess an equatable prospect swap wasn’t in the cards but something has to give before waive him.
