Taking a chance with two rookie D-men. However, I think the fact that I can pair both with a true second-pairing partner is a big plus.

It was actually the trade offer for Lindgren that got me comfortable with the idea. I really think Seider as a 19-year-old will be as good or slightly better than Lindgren. In fact, outside of the goals, I think he can be very similar to Heiskanen as a 19-year-old.

Bean I see having a rookie season like Fabbro. The one area he will have to step us is as the PP2 quarterback—he was one of the best in the AHL.
