Sam made an alternate captain too. Awesome. Really underwhelming regular season but a great playoffs. Reminds me a bit of a John Madden type player lol.

I think the main reason why the Canucks were so good is they somehow got Karlsson and Taylor Hall. I mean, I'm not complaining...

3 straight Frozen Four finals and 2 wins. Another dominant season at the college level and a hell of a way to end my amateur career. Got revenge in the H2H against Percy too - I suspect that won’t be the last I see of him though. Probably just the early stages of a bitter rivalry.

Also love the WJC awards. Can’t carry the team much further than that, though. Hoping to make a splash at the men’s level next.

Thanks for the update!

@francis246 is there a way to find out who Sam's linemates are/were, and what line he was playing on? Looks like he was on the third line, judging by the point totals, but perhaps he got a bump to the 2nd in the playoffs?

Thanks.

Still have no idea how the Canucks got both Taylor Hall and Erik Karlsson

I am content with Sam being a 40 point player if it means Stanley Cups and clutch play in the playoffs.

I think Paddl might have been paired with Karlsson, which would have certainly helped, but would love to see the lines. Stud either way.

Thanks Francis for another round, I am little wondering if Lennart Wimmer and Ben Stephen have played for New Zealand because their teams were not in the Playoffs. Can you clarify, please?

there are certain factors that also play a role. The deadline to submit the team for the tournament was before a certain date. So some players still had 1 game left to play, others already had 82. So for that reason I couldn't add them. It was an olympic year. Wimmart and Ben Stephen became available literally the day after and by then it was too late to add them

What a season from me. Probably will make the move to the NHL next season right?

Hard to say since you didn't sign an NHL contract yet (unless it was missed).

There are only five of us who haven't made the NHL yet (Coutunin, Latypov, Percy, Tikkanen, and Zhang). Of these five, three signed at the end of the year (Coutunin, Latypov, Tikkanen) and I suspect will be in the NHL at some point in the next update (maybe not Latypov, goalies are voodoo). Percy is finishing college and then should jump to the NHL (may take a year or two being a goalie). Zhang just needs to sign a contract at some point and then he'll come over, I'd imagine.

You'd need francis to tell you how long your KHL contract lasts to get some insight into that.

Yeah, we're all ready to play in the NHL imo, we just aren't signing, kind of like Gusev/Kaprizov IRL

I think it's just you in that scenario, actually

Couldn't tell you why Percy stayed but that's not unheard of. Part of me wished I'd stayed and gone to UFA. Islanders seem they might not need goalie help, finishing near the top of their conference.

Finally catching up with the updates after being off for a few days.

Decent KHL career for my boy Tikkanen finished off with the title, two WJC medals and some individual WJC honors. Now off to the NHL races with the Kings.
