I can verify that New Zealand has reached promotion in this upcoming update. We weren't included in the pre-Olympics qualification however. I think we need our world ranking to improve

When I am right for pre-olympics we need to be minimum in WC1B, so when NZ is now promoted (I reckon with some of us played) we are then in WC2A. Good chance to get in the qualifier for the next Olympics where the most of our players are starting to get in their prime.

All players who will be 18 years old on or before September 15 and not older than 20 years old before December 31 of the draft year are eligible for selection for that year's NHL Entry Draft. In addition, non-North American players over the age of 20 are eligible.

This might help. You'd want his birthday to be Sept. 15th, in this case. He would then be the youngest player (or at least tied for it) in the 2020 draft.
