I’m half-kidding because I’d expect Chia to shop RNH before he even considers shopping Drae...but Barrie is an elite offensive RHD that would be huge for their transition game when McDavid isn’t on the ice...and putting him on the ice with McD would just gorgeous...Kerfoot is a good 2nd liner as a sophomore who’s fast, skilled, and smart; and that team really needs more speedy and skilled forwards around McDavid like Yama, Kerf & Ghetto.

At least they did last year...I’m a huge Draisaitl fan & McDavid is too much fun, so I’ve watched them a lot in previous seasons; but haven’t watched them at all yet this year.

I like Barrie, but you're not getting Draisaitl in a package built around him.

Oh, I don't think we'll get him at all lol. But I think Tyson compares quite favorably to the centerpieces of most 1C trades that we've seen recently. With a good young NHLer & 1st rounder to match the surrounding value, in a vacuum that looks pretty fair...although I can see the argument to replace Sven with one of our non-Makar prospects like Kaut or Bowers, given just how highly I rate Drae.

I feel like colorado can make 3 different types of packages that are comparable to what we've seen youngsters moving for: the one I suggested above; OTT 1st + Kerfoot + Timmins + 'ghetto/Bowers; or Makar + Kerfoot + 'ghetto/Bowers + 2nd. The latter of which, being the framework that I would guess Sakic is least likely to entertain even.
