I think there might be an issue with the score calculations on hockeydraft? Rangers had a .3 lead on Washington before yesterday's games. The Rangers scored 8 pts yesterday and Washington scored 3.45 yet the overall standings only have the Rangers ahead by 1.5 pts?
The points Halak got haven’t counted yet. He has to pass the goalie in front of him as it’s the top 2 goalies that count.
Top 12 F, Top 6 D, Top 2 G count so points for players below that cut line won’t count. For example/ Trades: the points accumulated stay with the originating team and the points after the trade start accumulating but the player starts at 0.
Let’s say the player is a D and the team has 8 D the top 6 points count. So the traded D has to pass D 7 and D 6 to start to count.
For example last night Sprong got a point for Boston passing Burakovsky into non count. If Burakovsky passes Sprong the reverse will happen.
So while Halak did get 4 points last night the point total for the Rangers won’t reflect that until he passes another goalie so the sooner he gets past the better! Craig Anderson just passed my 2nd goalie Grubauer last night w 18 to 16.
Hope that helps?!
