I noticed, even when he's playing for the Gulls, that he has Getzlaf-itis and tries to force an extra pass instead of shooting when he has a good chance. He has a good wrist shot, he really should be using it more.

Defensively he still has some off moments but he’s been so much more active in joining the rush and is using his skating to generate more offensively.
