We use the real life contracts that they will be getting.

Yeah, we use the real life contracts.

FanTrax is also not currently updated with the 2011-2012 cap hit increases (ex. Claude Giroux) so keep that in mind. They will eventually be updated so if new contracts place you over the Cap make sure to get under.

Turns out you can have a minor league team on FanTrax but it's a paid feature. $60 for the year. So you guys probably don't want to do that even though that works out to $3 per team. Also let's you trade future draft picks and keeps track of them.

EDIT: I need to figure out how to let teams get their prospects on their team.

For now i've set it that only I can place claims for players for your teams. That will change once the season starts.
