First exhibition game I've watched thus far but it seems like there is an emphasis from the Hawks for getting pucks to the net quickly and looking for redirects on low shots...Not so much of the cycle game that we used to see from 2013-2015. Could be completely off base

Forsberg has played well other than the mishandle, also.

And it's notable that Manning hasn't been an absolute dumpster fire.

Not off base at all. Noticed it too - Cat looking for Jonny down low every chance available. Cycle w/ Hoss days over - sadly, but onward & upward, hopefully. 19 & 12 looking "locked in" so far.
