Jets coming on the back of a blowout win and facing a team that has lost 7 straight and is 1-9-0 in their last 10. This has all the makings of a "let down game". The Jets can take the lead of the West if they win this one.

It's a good thing we have superstition on our side...

C'mon Jim, do the voodoo that you do so well... for the good guys, of corsi...

P.S. I met Beyak at the Garry Street Keg after a game a few years ago and can tell you that he is one super nice guy. I'm a fan of his for life!

I'm really scared of the Hawks losing streak coming in.
Last year I took my fiance to a Hawks game and it blew.
The Jets lost, one of their only home losses over a crazy long stretch.
We have the tickets for tonight... yikes.
On the other hand she was at the game with me on Sunday and that worked out fine.
Maybe things will be ok.

Hoping for Laine goals and 1 goal for Roslovic and Petan.
I'd let Petan out on the PP2 line in Perreault's spot at least a couple of times (assuming we get the PP's and that PP1 doesn't finish them all off).

I like Beyak but for me the best is still Curt Keilback , probably because that's the voice i listened to growing up . Don't forget back then not many games were on TV , had to listen on my clock radio .

When the Jets moved up from Atlanta, my company was tasked with all the household moves of the players and staff. By far one of the most gracious people I met throughout the process was Dennis. When talking with him about what was to come, he was so genuinely excited and passionate, there was actually tears in his eyes. I'll forever defend Dennis and am a big fan.

For what it's worth, Claude Noel, Paul Maurice, Dustin Byfuglien and Chris Mason are also extremely nice people.

That out of the way I have to say I love Beyak and all his quirks. His voice is pretty synonymous with Jets hockey for me now. I hope he stays around a very long time as I equate him with the voices of Bill Hewitt (I'm not so old to recall Foster but I know that voice too), Danny Gallivan and Don Wittman. They are part of my hockey history.

I was going to post that all you need is a couple back to back Sportsnet games to realize what we have with TSN... but then I realized that wasn’t true. It really only takes about 30 seconds of a Sportsnet broadcast for the mind-numbing to start.

Sportsnet is NOT worth my $15/month. Last year, if the Jets were on Sportsnet, you could subscribe for the game and then turn it off and only pay a few dollars, but this year they've got a 30-day minimum attached to subscribing. I just can't handle how bad their coverage is, so I accept that watching the score on my phone will have to suffice for SN games...there aren't that many anyway.
