Yup. Sweden has produced like 1/3 of all international players currently playing in the NHL. Finland has an exploding, outlier year and all of a sudden, Finland has passed Sweden in producing hockey players, because you only count the arbitrary top 10, top 5 or whatever? Let's wait a bit with the statement, eh, considering this is only the start of one year?Fiiiinlands gonna Finland!
Let's summarize the production from all Swedish players, compared to Finnish players. No one would even bother to count that, because it's obvious what the results will be. As also been mentioned, Sweden has a current gap at the forward position, while having extraordinary D-men. But, there are some really interesting and solid forward prospects and players for Sweden still.
This is a hype thread. Let's talk again in a couple of years. Team wise, Sweden still has a better team than Finland.
