I know it will be hard for MSL to sit out the vet but I can't stand watching Pearson, take him out and put in Pezzetta, at least Pez works his ass off.
Yeah, I really hope we're able to trade Pearson by the TDL.

The best I can see happening:
To Contender: Pearson 50% retained
To 3rd party: 6th round pick for retaining 50% of his salary
To MTL: Nothing

We should need that last retention spot for another trade.

Yeah, Newhook is back tomorrow. I wonder if he plays center then? He's so much better as a winger.

Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky
Newhook-Evans-Armia
RHP-Gignac-Anderson
Pearson-Pezzetta-Ylonen
With Condotta going back to Laval, I think he will have to...

Need to trade Pearson, Armia, or Anderson (50% retained) ASAP.

I would put Anderson with Newhook. I think Andy would find similar chemistry that he did playing with Byron. Newhook can play Anderson's narrow style and it might actually lead to goals when Anderson isn't shooting all the time. Evans can play extra defensively and cover their rushes.

I think Armia with the Gignac line might be good as well. Have Gignac be F1, win the puck and get it to Armia so they can start a legit offensive zone cycle.

I like your fourth line. I think Ylonen could learn from Pearson, and Pezzetta is having a solid year in his role.

I thought that Newhook was out for 3 months.
Not every high ankle sprain is created equal really

Some people heal better than others (that schmuck pacioretty comes to mind)

Usually a high ankle sprain is like 9 weeks give or take 2 weeks
So it's been lining up pretty good too

The thing of it is with those usually is it 'can linger' after the time table too

Habs have only 12 forwards right now. Condotta has been sent down to Laval. Gally will be back in a week or so.

American Footbowl :eyeroll: 3 to 6 seconds of action then you wait 🛌

No wonder they need kilos of comfort food to get through this torture.
There is actually a rhythm to the game - - if you ignore the painfully long commercial breaks. Run a play, while the team huddles show a replay, then show either a 2nd replay or discuss some relavent stat, then show the teams at the line for the next play. Wash, rinse, repeat.
