I don't think this is really much of an upset. We were a good team in 2014 and we were just coming off a sweep of TB the round before. Who knows, if Price didn't get injured we might have went to the Finals.

We let Boston stay in that series longer than we should have was the only upset in that series.

I like that there are a lot of hard workers on the team.

But who is going to score ?

Has anyone looked at the playoff record of our players ? It's embarassing. On defense, it's even worse.

If the team struggled this much to create during the regular season, how are they going to do it better in the post-season, when individually they all get worse.

The hope is that the team not only over performs, but that they do it at the level of an outlier. A lot of them will have to play way over their abilities.

Well, Toffoli and Suzuki will have to lead the way.

Hopefully, Gallagher and Perry will chip in too. And the Evans line can beat up Leafs 4th line.

Yeah, we need everyone playing their best and then some.

You don't disrespect the other team by saying they will be lucky to score a goal.

The difference between Leafs/Habs is just that big. Habs were on pace for 35 wins this year over 82 games....Leafs had that much in 56.

Besides AVS/STL this is the most lopsided matchup. Unlike Montreal, St.Louis won a cup recently so they are at least somewhat intriguing.

Colorado also played Makar in the NHL playoffs with no NHL regular season games played.

He went straight from NCAA to NHL playoff hockey.

Rangers did the same with Kreider.

But, Caufield has to sit & learn.
We did it with Subban and it was a homerun. Not sure why this management doesn't see what's obvious....
