That was really a good, exciting game!

Kotkaniemi and Armia were beasts together. Price did a few big saves. Fleury looked sharp in his first NHL game. I loved how Claude Julien sent Suzuki for the shootout in his first NHL game!

We are probably not making the playoff this year, but I'm fine if I get to see young players excel in fun game like this all year!

Agreed. It was going a bit fast for him tonight. Suzuki will have to raise his game, otherwise Poehling will replace him in the lineup quickly. More size, more strength would have been useful tonight.

The Lekhonen - Domi - Suzuki line was putrid.

yeah that was a bad night for them for sure... Domi tried a lot of stuff, trying to deke 3 players himself... but the other 3 lines were good.. so hard to break them up right away

But the Canes were the better team and deserve the win.
Price stole a couple of goals, they hit the post twice….

Still, one point on the road in the home opener of the Canes, good starts.
