So face offs are now the catalyst to winning a game in OT? Would love to see the stats on winning % when a face off is won. Gtfo with that BS. Have guys on the ice that can score end of story.

You put Danault simply to win faceoffs? How in the f***ing world do they NOT practice Suzuki and Kotkaniemi faceoffs, EVERY f***ING DAY OF THE WEEK??? Why don't they hire a faceoff specialist? Bring Carbonneau for that. Bring whoever. DO SOMETHING!!!!!
I've been saying Yanik Perrault and others have mentioned Malholtra. These are non cap items to improve the team. This leads us back to money manager molson. I think he has too much and yet too little to do with the team as the president. Worried about pinching pennies and branding, not about the product on the ice or the idiot he put in charge that is WHY he has to worry about pinching pennies. I know he likely makes tons with no other real competition in quebec, but winning a cup or even a deep playoff run makes people buy merch, new fans, old fans, collectors etc. Penny wise pound foolish.

Watch it again.
Armia’s man walked in alone.
Danault was just fine up to that point, boxing out his man.
Danault was boxing his man right into allens face. The two of them were screens, may have even deflected off one of them. CLEAR the damn net, you learn that in novice hockey.

Special thanks to Runner77, I think he was the guy who uploaded the GIF at hte beginning of this video here lol

Thanks Junkie. Just wanted to point out that the GIF isn't mine, so I have no say as to whether you determine you can use it on your platform or not. Glad you liked it, it's one of my favorites.

He was off to the side until the other Jet jumped into the play.
If everyone does their job, all is good.

Good morning sunshine. Hope you found a way to mass erase those notifications. You didn't miss much, just another L for the habs, 7th of the last 8 games.
Have a good one.
Hey man, I went through every single one of them. I am glad that you guys were able to have some fun at my expense. It was probably much more fun than cheering for this hockey team anyway.

Drouin is now officially more physical than Danno. Let that sink in.

Apparently, you didn't.

Were your ears buzzing last night? :sarcasm:
You know what, I didn't sleep well. There was something nagging me and I didn't know what it was. I open the PGT and saw Expy's post(he's always first when the habs lose lol) where he said "lets discuss OldCraig71 and I was thinking, that's odd. I started scrolling through trying to figure it out and then I jumped back to when I left the GDT and I saw where it started lol.

Not gonna lie I really thought we turned a corner after that fantastic start, it really seemed to pass the eye test and wasn't just a fluke for once. My spirit is crushed now

Does anybody still like Ducharme?
Danno and Armia... like in what universe does that make any sense? WHY?! They don't play on the same line. They don't know each other. They are skill-less, they are slow...

FO! One idiot coach after another with no end in sight.
You really like stirring the pot, don't ya:nod:

His inner Julien surfacing in OT....

start Danault in OT...

when are they gonna learn???
I suppose he was out there to win the face off for puck possession and then would get off the ice. Strategy didn't work. That's hockey

Too bad. They played a very solid game. They now lost three precious points (2 vs Ottawa, 1 vs Jets) over a week span. The last lost against Ottawa (with Julien) was a killer with the disallowed goal. It,s gonna take time but I am confident they gonna have a series of wins in a near future. They gonna battle for the 4th spot the whole season, though. I think TO, EDM and WIN are all superior teams. (or at least have elite talents at forward position)

Well....it was pretty much impossible that the Habs would sustain such a high scoring pace as in the first 10 games or so. They were bound to come back to earth a little bit....and they did....except they are now in hell now more than on earth. They've gone from one extreme to the other.

This team is more bi polar than my ex

I get the Ot decision if Donut wins the draw and gets his ass to the bench.

Armia is WTF. He might be a possession player along boards but open ice?

No matter what it failed, Donut is s failure as he barely wins draws these days and both him and Armia have been suspect defensively all yr

The only dman we have that you can justify icing in OT is Petry.
Therein lies the problem. 3 on 3 is all about mobility: whether attacking or defending. To put any player on the ice in a 3 on 3 situation that is not an above average skater is inviting your team to lose. the weaker skater will be exploited creating an odd man rush. What I find incomprehensible is that we have a coach (s) that doesn't understand this simple dynamic. But then again he is French, so he can fluently explain to the press in the chosen language why his team lost.

I'm starting to feel bad for the guy at this point so I hope Danault finally does score a goal soon. For the Habs to have any hope of making the playoffs they're gonna need guys like Price, Danault, Tatar and some others to start playing like they're capable of.
